SunSense - Coarse Sun Sensor for CubeSats

SunSense is a compact coarse Sun sensor and satellite subsystem designed for CubeSat ADCS and attitude determination in LEO (Low Earth Orbit). With a 55° field of view and an operational temperature range of -40°C to 110°C, SunSense provides reliable Sun detection for spacecraft attitude estimation. Its compact 30 × 22 × 7.46 mm form factor makes it suitable for space-constrained CubeSat configurations. With low shutdown current consumption of 0.5 μA, I2C communication, a nominal supply voltage of 2.5–3.3 V, and on-board temperature compensation, SunSense provides efficient and reliable Sun sensing. Its protective enclosure helps protect the sensor from solar radiation.
